Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- Former President Donald Trump is coming to Las Vegas tomorrow (Friday, Jul. 8) to canvas for GOP candidates Adam Laxalt and Joe Lombardo. The event is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip. According to Trump's Save America PAC, the former president "will deliver remarks on the America First Agenda" and will be joined by the GOP candidates. (News3LV)
- Looking to eat well and get paid? Time2play is hiring a person to travel to Las Vegas and review the city's buffets. In addition to paying out a $500 cash reward, the company will also offer luxury accommodations, paid entry for two to four different buffets, and "a pair of Lululemon's famously soft sweat pants so you have some room to breathe." (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Two more probable cases of monkeypox have been reported in Clark County. According to the Southern Nevada Health District, one individual is hospitalized and the other is self-isolating at home. There are now a total of four confirmed or suspected monkeypox cases in the county. (News3LV)
