• Laughlin area south of Las Vegas gets 1.5 inches of rain (8newsnow.com) — Heavy storms dropped up to 1.5 inches of rain around Laughlin, with about an inch reported in residential areas and along the Laughlin Strip, leading to wet roads and localized flooding. Bullhead City closed all parks and urged people to avoid washes and low-lying areas, while a flash flood warning and broader flood watch remained in effect into early Tuesday.
   

• Flash Flood Warning issued September 28 at 5:19PM PDT until September 28 at 7:15PM PDT by NWS Las Vegas NV (kesq.com) — A National Weather Service flash flood warning highlighted Laughlin and nearby communities after 1 to 1.5 inches of rain fell in under an hour, creating life-threatening flooding risks. Residents were urged to avoid creeks, washes, and flooded roads, as storms threatened highways, campgrounds, and neighborhoods across the lower Colorado River corridor.
