• Last major vote update for Reno-Sparks — no race results changed (rgj.com) — Washoe County’s latest primary vote update shows no changes in outcomes for Reno-Sparks races, with fewer than 2,000 additional ballots leaving November matchups intact. Results become official after county commissioners certify totals June 18, but key races, including the district attorney contest and Sparks Ward 4 seat, appear settled based on current counts.    

• Hundreds protest horse fencing project in Washoe Valley (2news.com) — A Reno City Council–approved horse fencing project in Washoe Valley is drawing hundreds of protesters who fear it will fence wild horses away from Washoe Lake’s shoreline. State officials say the fencing is needed to prevent vehicle collisions, while opponents are pushing alternatives like lower speed limits, lighting, and dedicated horse crossings as they await more details from the Nevada Department of Agriculture.    

• Bees Use Ninth-Inning Rally to Secure Shutout Victory Over Aces (mlb.com) — Reno Aces fans saw a late heartbreak Saturday as the Salt Lake Bees broke a scoreless tie with three ninth‑inning runs to win 3–0 at Greater Nevada Field. Despite strong Aces pitching, Reno stranded the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, and Salt Lake now chases a road series win in Sunday’s Reno finale.
