Children riding decorated bikes, strollers, scooters and wagons will start the parade.&nbsp; &nbsp;(Complimentary helmets and decorations provided by the National Automobile Museum.)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Fur babies are invited to be a part of the celebration. Imagine the sun-soaked charm of Palm Springs circa ‘62 mixed with a dash of California coastal weirdness in a mod-inspired dreamscape. Kimmi Bitter is a paradox that echoes classic country traditions while breaking the rules at the same time. A rising force in the underground Americana scene, she blends old school with new cool, capturing the attention of fans and critics alike. That boundary-pushing spirit shines in her debut album Old School (2024), which landed in the Top 25 on the Americana Album Radio Chart and earned eight nominations and three wins. The album also topped the Alt. Country Specialty Charts for four consecutive weeks and received an Album of the Year nod from Saving Country Music alongside Sierra Ferrell, Red Clay Strays, and Billy Strings. Her singles “Aquamarine” and “Cowboy Kind of Girl” won Song of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 San Diego Music Awards, beating nominees like Jason Mraz and P.O.D. Chautauqua presenter Steve Hale returns to Artown this year as millionaire Stephen T. Mather, creator and first Director of the National Park Service in 1916. Ken Burns called the America's National Parks “America's Best Idea” and credits Mather as the visionary genius and “obsessed” leader who created the National Park Service (NPS) in August 1916. NPS's first Director Mather invites you to come along as he unveils his extraordinary life's journey with a box of all- purpose cleaner that enabled him to create the U.S. National Park Service whose professional Rangers preserve educate, illuminate, and inspire all who visit our national parks now and in future generations. Mather's foresight continues to preserve the diversity and grandeur of America's landscapes, history, and culture that has grown to 433 units encompassing 85 million acres coast to coast from Arcadia to Independence Hall Historic to Yosemite National Parks. Steve has entered his third decade performing live costumed first person reenactments of pivotal American historical figures. He was invited to reenact Director Stephen Mather in Yosemite National Park at the NPS Yosemite Valley Visitor Center Theater for the NPS Centennial celebration throughout the summer of 2016. He has also published an illustrated book that celebrates Stephen Mather remarkable career.

Join us for our July Fairy Fair, a mystical market featuring over 30 local vendors, GD's kitchen food truck, a bar, live music, tarot, tours of our 20,000 sqft immersive art exhibit and so much more. Vendors will be inside the art immersive and outside in the sculpture garden!

The theme is water fairies! We'll have misting tents, water guns and a kiddie pool for everyone to cool down! Please dress in your most bubbly attire! 🫧

Our July bands are Oakland’s <a href="https://www.threereefsdeep.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Three Reefs Deep</a>, and Reno locals, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/the_zines_reno/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Zines</a> &amp; <a href="https://www.instagram.com/poisongrove6/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Poison Grove</a>!

All bands will be outside on our boat stage from 5pm - 8pm.

Kids 4 and under get in for free! Kids 12 and under $10. Adult tickets $15.
All tickets include full access to our 3-floor art immersive created by over 60 local, regional and international artists! Meet our talking mushroom, climb the Tinkertown Spaceship and make a wish in our crystal grotto.
