2. Lake Mansion gets new roof after community fundraising effort (2news.com) — A major preservation project has given Reno's historic Lake Mansion a new, long-lasting roof, funded entirely through local donations and foundations. The restored landmark, once home to city founder Myron Lake, will now be more available for arts classes, cultural events, and free family festivals as it approaches its 150th anniversary.
   

3. Lane reductions begin on U.S. 395 in north Reno (2news.com) — If you drive U.S. 395 through north Reno at night, expect lane reductions in both directions between the spaghetti bowl and North McCarran Boulevard from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Monday. NDOT crews are resurfacing 11 Truckee Meadows bridges and replacing barriers and joints, and officials urge motorists to slow down, allow extra time, and watch for workers in the construction zones.

Detectives recover missing 14-year-old, arrest truck driver in Sparks (kolotv.com) — Regional HEAT detectives, acting on a tip that a missing 14-year-old might be in the Reno area, located her during a traffic stop in Sparks and arrested a semi-truck driver. The girl, previously identified as a commercially sexually exploited child, was recovered safely and connected with victim advocates, while the suspect now faces multiple serious felony charges.
   

5. SunPower Breaks Ground on Reno AI Data Center Solar System (constructionreviewonline.com) — A new AI-focused data center in Reno is getting its own dedicated solar-power system, with SunPower breaking ground on the project to help meet the facility's heavy electricity needs. While many details remain undisclosed, the development signals growing investment in large-scale energy infrastructure tied to high-tech operations in Reno and could eventually affect local power demand and jobs.
