  1. 19-year-old male Luis Vasquez-Lopez was arrested by police on charges of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, assault with a deadly weapon, and endangering children with a deadly weapon. According to the Reno Police Department's Regional Gang Unit, the shooting took place last Friday morning at Smithridge Park Townhouses. Anyone with further information should contact the authorities. (KRNV)
  2. This past Saturday was World Autism Awareness Day, and the Newton Learning Center hosted a carnival to celebrate. During the celebration, students were able to invite their family members to the learning center for a fun day full of activities. There were boat races, crafts, and even a water gun fight. The Newton Learning Center specializes in providing education that caters to each child's learning style and speed. (KOLO)
  3. The University of Nevada, Reno is going to begin offering extended reality courses through its partnership with Circuit Stream. Circuit Stream is an extended reality educational provider. Soon, students will have the opportunity to complete "project-based training in extended reality [with options] to obtain certificates in the field."
