Here are the top 3 stories in Reno today:

  1. Last Sunday, two young girls were walking to Idlewide Park when a stranger in a sedan approached and offered to give them a ride. Thankfully, 12-year-old Billie and her 13-year-old friend were able to say no and run in the opposite direction toward families and kids. Vanessa Vancour, Billie's mother, is scared and angry that this happened in a community space that used to be a place where you could feel safe. (KOLO)
  2. During these times, it can be difficult to find peace. Learn how 58-year-old woman Renee Fields found hers by sailing in a land yacht. This Reno woman is not like most. She speaks five languages and is a forensic engineer. Back in 2012, she was mistakenly diagnosed with cancer. Ever since she found out she did not have it, she has taken it upon herself to tackle her bucket list. To learn more about her story, please read the full article. (Nevada Appeal)
  3. Are you in the process of searching for a new home? If so, look no further, because Patch and Redfin have got you covered! They have cherry-picked some of the best listings in the area so you don't have to. For a full list of properties, please check out their full article. (Reno Patch)
