• Sparks police arrest man after reported domestic battery, possible false imprisonment (mynews4.com) — Sparks police arrested a man Friday after responding to a reported domestic violence incident on the 1800 block of E Street, where a woman was injured and taken to the hospital. Officers say they later seized multiple firearms, suspected narcotics, and other evidence, and the suspect now faces numerous felony and misdemeanor charges while the investigation continues.
   

• Reno, Sparks Police participate in human trafficking operation conducted across 30 states (2news.com) — Sparks Police detectives working with the regional HEAT task force joined Reno officers and agencies nationwide in a massive anti-human trafficking sweep across 30 states. The operation identified 154 victims, led to 139 arrests, and resulted in several suspects being taken into custody in northern Nevada. Residents with tips are urged to contact the HEAT unit by email.
