Up to 12-inches of Snow this Weekend in NH? Seriously?
Possibly: The National Weather Service has issued a "special weather statement" about a major storm heading to the Granite State.

While sometimes weather forecasters can be wrong, they can also be correct, which means it’s always better to be safe than sorry, which is why meteorologists are warning about a possible winter snow that could be heading to the region on Sunday night and Monday morning, according to an alert on March 17, 2016.
The NWS issued a “special weather statement” at just before 2 p.m. after warning of hail and wind gusts earlier today, stating that confidence was increasing that a winter storm will impact most of the state beginning on Sunday night.
“The potential exists for significant snow accumulations as well as strong winds along the coast,” according to the alert. “There remains significant uncertainty regarding the track of this storm … which will influence precipitation type and potential snowfall accumulations.”

AccuWeather.com stated that the colder, first day of Spring air, means that forecasters can’t rule out a track change and major accumulations.
Since the alert by the NWS, forecasters, including AccuWeather.com, have upgraded the concerns about the storm to include a more specific prediction: Anywhere from six to 12-inches of snow starting Sunday night.
