Amherst Man Arrested On An OUI Charge In Merrimack
Denis Dancoes was arrested after a report of erratic driving in the area of Continental Boulevard Monday.

MERRIMACK, NH — A local man was arrested Monday after a report of erratic driving in Merrimack. At just after 11:15 p.m., police received a report of a motorist "operating erratically" in the area of Continental Boulevard and Peachtree Lane. Officers found the vehicle in question in a parking lot of a business, according to Sgt. Michael Lambert of the Merrimack Police Department, and spoke with the driver, identified as Denis Dancoes, 50, of Belleview Drive in Amherst.
"While speaking with Dancoes, Officers observed signs of impairment," he said. "After a brief investigation, which included standardized field sobriety tests, Dancoes was arrested for OUIL."
Dancoes was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on personal recognizance bail. He's due in Merrimack Circuit Court on Sept. 26.
