Amherst Man Indicted in Burglary

Cory Michaud faces up to 22 years in prison for stealing electronics from a Nashua residence last year.

An Amherst man is facing felony charges after allegedly breaking into a Nashua home and stealing thousands of dollars in electronics.

Cory Michaud, 21 of Amherst has been indicted by the Hillsborough County grand jury for receiving stolen property and burglary.

Michaud had allegedly joined Jeremy Locke, 31 of Nashua in breaking into a Nashua home in September,  according to court documents. The two had reportedly stolen an Apple laptop and iPad from the residence.

He faces up to 7 years in state prison for the burglary charge, and up to 15 years for receiving stolen property.

Police have arrested Michaud multiple times in the past year on charges including receiving a stolen motor vehicle, driving after revocation or suspension and non-appearance in court.
