Amherst Police Log: Cars Strike, Deer Moose in Town

Incidents

• 9:16 p.m. on May 31, 2015: Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer). No injuries were reported.
• 9:31 p.m. on May 31: Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Route 101 (car v. deer). No injuries were reported.
• 3:55 p.m. on June 4: Amherst Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Ponemah Road (car v. moose). No injuries were reported.

Arrests

Michael Melillo, 28, of Milford, was arrested at 3 a.m. on May 31, 2015, on charges of possession of a controlled drug, transportation of a controlled drug and operating without a valid license. Melillo was released on $5,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Joshua Turpin, 28, of Chester, was arrested 6:02 p.m. on May 31, on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Milford District Court. Turpin was released on $800 PR bail, with a court date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Linda Wolsky, 47, of Amherst, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. on June 1, on a charge of simple assault. Wolsky was released on $800 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015 at the Milford District Court.

Dustin Bouchard, age 21, of Henniker, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. on June 3, on charges of driving while under the influence of drugs or liquor, possession of a controlled drug and transportation of a controlled drug. Bouchard was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 11, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Alexander Weaver, 18, of Weare, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. on June 3, on a charge of unlawful possession of alcohol. Weaver was released on $500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for June 25, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
