Amherst Police Log: Mass. Man Arrested for Reckless Operation

Incidents

• 7:10 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2015: The Amherst Police Department investigated a single vehicle accident, which occurred on Boston Post Road. No injuries were reported.
• 1:38 p.m. on Aug. 24: A two-car accident was reported in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported.
• 2:32 p.m. on Aug. 26: The Amherst Police Department responded to a two-car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.

Arrests

Richard Crocker, 21, of Epsom, was arrested at 2:23 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2015, on charges of transportation of a controlled drug and possession of a controlled drug. Crocker was released on $600 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 10, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Willard Dean, 68, of Amherst, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. on Aug. 27, on a charge of contempt/breach of bail conditions. Dean was released on $2,500 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 17, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Alex Weishaus, 20, of Brookline, MA, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. on Aug. 27, on a charge of reckless operation. Weishaus was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 17, 2015, at the Milford District Court.

Connor Manolis, 24, of Amherst, was arrested at 8:50 p.m. on Aug. 27, on an electronic bench warrant issued by the Manchester District Court. Manolis was released on $800 PR bail, with a court date set for Sept. 2, 2015, at the Manchester District Court.

Kyle Byrne, 20, of Goffstown, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 29, on a charge of DWI. Byrne was released on $1,000 PR bail, with an arraignment date set for Sept. 3, 2015, at the Milford District Court.
