AMHERST, NH — The following arrests and investigations took place in Amherst Sept 25 through Oct. 2.

On Sept. 25, Amherst Police investigated a reported burglary on Lord Jeffrey Drive.

On Sept. 25, Amherst Police responded to a single-car accident on Hollis Road involving a car and a deer.

On Sept. 26, Amherst Police responded to a single-car accident on Route 101A. Matthew Collins, 36, of Wilton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a summons to appear in Milford District Court.

On Sept. 26, Amherst Police charged Brianne Cabral, 37, of Amherst with domestic violence simple assault and criminal mischief. She was released on personal recognizance bail with a court date set for Milford District Court.

On Sept. 27, Amherst Police charged Kyle Sutton, 30, of Merrimack with driving with a suspended license. He was released with a summons to appear at Milford District Court on Oct. 15.

On Sept. 27, Amherst Police charged Stephen Benton, 18, of Derry with operation without a valid driver's license and speeding. He was released on personal recognizance bail with an arraignment set for Oct. 15 at Milford District Court.
