Freeze Warning Issued for Parts of NH

Expect sub-freezing temperatures through Sunday morning, according to a National Weather Service alert.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for some parts of southern New Hampshire through 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015, according to an alert.

The warning was issued at just before 3 p.m. on Oct. 17, for eastern, central, and western Hillsborough County and interior and coastal Rockingham County.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely, according to the alert. These conditions will kill whatever crops are still growing or potential harm some sensitive vegetation.
