New Boston Woman Charged With Theft: Amherst Police Log

Brookline woman arrested on driving and vehicle charges while a Lowell man was arrested for suspension and speeding; crashes also reported.

AMHERST, NH — Caryn Coolbeth, 53, of New Boston, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. on May 21, 2019, on a theft charge. She was released on personal recognizance bail and had an arraignment date on June 18, in Milford District Court.

Mala Whitcomb, 48, of Brookline, was arrested on driving after suspension and suspension of registration of a vehicle at 4:15 p.m. on May 20. She was released on personal recognizance bail and had an arraignment date on June 4, in Milford District Court.

Jose Ortiz, 38, of Lowell, Massachusetts, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on May 20, on a driving after suspension charge and speeding. He was released on personal recognizance bail and had an arraignment date on June 4, in Milford District Court.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on Amherst Street at Courthouse Road at 12:56 p.m. on May 17. There were no injuries reported.

A single-vehicle accident was reported in the parking lot of Dunkin' Donuts at 2:51 p.m. on May 16. No injuries were reported.
