Reward Increased in Matthew Dion Fugitive Case
U.S. Marshal: He is wanted for killing his parents, child pornography; considered armed and dangerous.

The reward for Matthew Dion, the Manchester man who allegedly killed his parents has been increased to $10,000, in the hope that this make shake out some leads in the case.
U.S. Marshals allege that Dion set fire to his adoptive parent’s Manchester home in March 2014. Robert and Constance Dion, who lived on Mooresville Road, were found after firefighters put out the blaze.
“Investigators ruled the deaths a homicide and found evidence that the victims were strangled several days before the arson fire,” according to U.S. Deputy Jeffrey White. “Matthew Dion was nowhere to be found.”

While conducting a crime scene investigation, police allegedly discovered materials belonging to Dion and determined them to be child pornography, and an arrest warrant was issued. Homicide charges were later added to the warrant. Dion vanished after the fire and has remained at-large.
Investigators believed he was in Atlanta, GA, earlier this year where he lived and worked from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office reportedly received a letter from him postmarked from Georgia. They later traced him to a northern suburb of Atlanta but by the time they arrived, he had already disappeared. He reportedly had swiped plates from a Nissan Altima that was similar to his parent’s.

In September, marshals were tipped off that he might be in St. Petersburg, FL, using the alias “Cameron Rowell.” There, an older teen, his girlfriend, and their family befriended him after meeting him at a local Taco Bell. He also reportedly started looking for an apartment in the area.
One of the family members realized that money was missing from her bank account and suspected Dion. He reportedly fled the area in the woman’s silver Hyundai Elantra, allegedly stealing the car, a .38 caliber handgun, and other items.
