Teen Arrested On Assault, Stole Property Charges: Amherst Cop Log

Plus: Amherst man stopped on an operating without a valid license violation while crashes were reported on Broadway and Route 101A.

AMHERST, NH — Jamil Quinones, 41, of Amherst, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. on June 20, 2019, on an operating without a valid license charge. Quinones was released on personal recognizance bail and has a court date on July 16.

Amherst police were called to a two-vehicle accident on Broadway at 2:17 p.m. on June 19. No injuries were reported.

Nathan Fortier, 18, of Amherst, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. on June 16, on receiving stolen property, simple assault, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of alcohol charges. He was released on personal recognizance bail and had a court date in Milford on July 2.

At 1:53 p.m. on June 13, a two-vehicle crash was reported at Route 101A and Northern Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

Police were sent to a two-vehicle crash on Route 101A at 7:25 p.m. on June 12. Minor injuries were reported.
