• State will seek court order ‘very soon' to force reopening of Northern Rail Trail in Andover (concordmonitor.com) — Access to the Northern Rail Trail in Andover near Potter Place is blocked by concrete barriers placed by a nearby landowner, forcing walkers and cyclists onto Route 4. State officials say a title review confirms the trail belongs to New Hampshire and plan to seek a court order soon for a preliminary injunction to reopen it. Local and statewide trail users are frustrated by the closure and safety concerns.
