Bedford Youth to Perform in the Palace Theatre’s Upcoming Production of The Nutcracker
Peyton Colegrove and Brianna Hawkins of Bedford, New Hampshire to perform in the Palace Theatre’s upcoming annual production of the timeless classic, The Nutcracker, in six performances November 23 through November 25, 2012.
Thirteen year old Peyton Colegrove, a homeschooler from Bedford will perform the lead roles of Clara and Columbine Doll in the Palace Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker. Peyton has been dancing for seven years with Southern NH Dance Theater under the artistic direction of Patricia Lavoie. “This is my first lead role and I get to dance at the Palace Theatre. It is so exciting,” stated Peyton.

Seventeen year old, Brianna Hawkins, who attends Bedford High School performed the role of Clara a few years ago. Brianna has been dancing for five years, four years with Southern NH Dance Theater. She also trained with Ballet Regent in Saratoga Springs, New York and participated in a five-week summer intensive program with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Brianna’s past performance credits include the roles of Maris, the Farm Girl in Fairy Houses – The Journey and Spanish in Moscow Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker.
