Made In NH Initiative, To Promote Local Businesses Statewide, Launched In Bedford
State leaders and business owners gathered in Bedford on Wednesday to launch a new branding platform for New Hampshire businesses.
BEDFORD, NH — State leaders, business owners, and community partners gathered in Bedford on Wednesday to launch Made in NH, a new statewide initiative aimed at promoting businesses across New Hampshire under a shared brand.
The event was hosted by the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs and Wire Belt Company of America. The initiative is designed to unify, promote and amplify businesses across the state economy, and the platform offers branding, digital assets and promotional support.
“From apparel, to art, to advanced manufacturing, there are countless fantastic products made right here in the Granite State,” Gov. Kelly Ayotte said. “I’m excited to launch this ‘Made in NH’ campaign and bring our business community together to highlight the talent, craftsmanship, and innovation happening across New Hampshire.”

BEA Commissioner Lucy Lange said the effort is meant to give businesses a shared identity.
“Today is about bringing New Hampshire businesses together under one powerful, recognizable identity,” she said. “Made in NH elevates the state’s economic momentum, empowering established industries while attracting visionary entrepreneurs to build the future here. Together, we’re shining a light on the people and businesses that are moving New Hampshire forward.”

Several businesses that have already adopted the brand attended the event and described how the initiative could help connect their products and services to customers.
“Being part of Made in NH reinforces the pride we take in our work and our people,” Jonathan Greer, the CEO of Wire Belt Company of America, said. “It highlights the quality and precision that define manufacturing in this state and connects us to a broader community of businesses doing the same.”
At Burgeon Outdoors in Lincoln, Founder and CEO Rudy Glockner said the branding helps answer customer questions about origin and values.
“They want to know where products come from and what they stand for,” he said. “Made in NH helps tell our story, which is based on sustainability, craftsmanship, and local impact.”
Conway-based Tuckerman Brewing Company also took part.
“Our success is tied directly to the strength of our community,” Tuckerman Brewery Founder Kristen Neves said. “Visitors come for the authenticity and Made in NH helps people connect with our story before they get here.”
Bond Optics of Lebanon also pointed to workforce needs.
“I could hire 10 people tomorrow,” said CEO Matt Zabko. “Initiatives like Made in New Hampshire are key to attracting and retaining the talent we need. By elevating our visibility, we can highlight the strength of our state and ensure high-level jobs stay right here in New Hampshire.”
