Manchester police and the FBI released more photos of a suspected bank robber who held up the Bank of New England on Elm Street Saturday.
MANCHESTER, NH — Police in New Hampshire's largest city as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation are continuing to investigate an armed bank robbery Saturday. The Bank of New England on Elm Street was hit at 8 a.m. by a skinny black or Hispanic man armed with a shotgun. The man sped from the scene in a white 2005 Toyota Matrix that was stolen from the city Friday, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.
The vehicle has since been located, she said.
The man wore white face paint during the robbery to disguise his appearance as well as a dark bandana. He was also wearing gray/black sweatpants, a lightweight North Face jacket, and mesh sneakers, Hamel said. The suspect is about 5-feet, 8-inches tall.
