Bedford Man, Others Arrested on Prostitution Charges

Manchester Police continue to crack down on johns looking for streetwalkers.

Three more men have been ensnared by Manchester Police after allegedly offering to pay undercover officers for sex on the streets of the Queen City, according to a press report.

Arrested on Feb. 25, 2015, were Robert Haines, 51, of Bedford (pictured left), Mohamed Alajimi, 22 (center), and John Abbott, 54, who are both of Manchester.

Police allege that last night, a special enforcement unit and patrol divisions teamed up and conducted undercover operations in the area of Enright Park, which is between Manchester and Merrimack streets, and Maple and Lincoln streets, between the hours of 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

All three allegedly “agreed to exchange money for sex with an undercover female police officer,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

Haines, Alajmi, and Abbott will be arraigned in 9th Circuit Court in Manchester on April 1.
