Bedford Police Arrest Manchester Man After High-Speed Chase
Passenger not charged after accident on Second Street in Manchester.

The Bedford Police Department has released the following supplemental information to a new post earlier in the day published on Bedford NH Patch:
On Wednesday January 21, at approximately 1:50 pm, a Bedford Police Department Traffic Unit officer on patrol observed a 2006 Honda Accord north bound on South River Road in Bedford.
A routine query of Department of Motor Vehicle files revealed the Honda Accord was listed as a stolen vehicle from Manchester. The Bedford Police Traffic Unit officer activated the marked patrol unit’s emergency lights and siren to conduct a motor vehicle stop of the Honda Accord in Bedford; however, the operator initially refused to obey the officer’s signal to stop and continued into the City of Manchester on Second Street.

While on Second Street, the operator of the Honda Accord initially stopped for the Bedford Police officer only to speed away as soon as the officer was out of the marked patrol unit and then struck another vehicle on Second Street in the City of Manchester. The operator of the vehicle struck by the stolen Honda received minor injuries.
The operator of the stolen Honda was severely injured requiring extrication from the stolen vehicle by emergency medical personnel and remains hospitalized.

The passenger of the stolen Honda also received injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.
The operator of the stolen Honda, identified as, Paul Frascona, 46, of Manchester was arrested by the Bedford Police Department on charges of Receiving Stolen Property (Felony) and Disobeying an Officer (Felony). The passenger of the stolen Honda was not charged.
