Bedford Teen Charged With Second-Degree Assault

A juvenile Bedford High School student, who was accused of assault after an incident in January, turned himself to police Thursday.

BEDFORD, NH — A local high school student has been charged with second-degree assault. The 15-year-old boy, accused of an assault at the school on Jan. 23, turned himself in to police Thursday, according to Chief John Bryfonski of the Bedford Police Department.

After the incident, police conducted a criminal investigation into the occurrence, which led to a charge against the boy. The boy was arrested, processed, and released, pending a future court appearance.

Because the suspect is a juvenile, his identity will not be released.
