Bulldogs Cap Undefeated Week with Big Win

Following a tough loss at Windham on Sept. 20, the Bedford High School golf team rebounded to close the regular season with nine-straight victories.

The Bulldogs most recent triumph came yesterday, Saturday, Oct. 1, when they traveled to Grantham for a makeup match with Lebanon.

Though the original contest was rained out on Sept. 8, the inclement weather held off long enough for the locals to improve their record to 18-2 by edge the hosts, 208-210.

Nathan Larrivee led the charge with a nine-hole score of 40. Matt Weeks and Ryan Brown each carded a 41, and A.J. Spagnuolo followed with a 42.

Bennett Brown and Nick Dempster each shot a 44, and Justin Clutter and Harrison Lanuza scored 46 and 53, respectively.

A day earlier, the Bulldogs, with a score 191, added three wins to their record, by trekking to Crotched Mountain Resort in Bennington and defeating Pelham,  210, Bishop Brady, 220, and Con-Val, 234.

Ryan Tombs and Nathan Larrivee each impressed with scores of 37, and Roger and A.J. Spagnuolo and Matt Weeks each notched a 39.Justin Clutter, Dylan Cowette, and Bennett Doherty compiled scores of 42, 43 and 44, respectfully.
