Construction On South River Road in Bedford Begins Next Week

Shoulder will be closed for concrete barriers starting Monday with night work scheduled for October.

(Patch)

BEDFORD, NH — The shoulder of the southbound lanes on South River Road will be unavailable for use starting Sept. 23 due to concrete barriers being set up in advance of nighttime work beginning in October. The barriers will allow construction equipment to work on the side of the road and not interfere with oncoming traffic.

All three southbound lanes of South River Road will remain open. However, the shoulder from Market and Main to the intersection of Meetinghouse Road on the west side of South River will be closed.

Those traveling in the area are asked to slow down and be aware of workers in the construction zone. Night work is set to start the first week of October from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
