Convicted Burglar Indicted in Stabbing Incident

Report: Ousman Trawalley, originally from Virginia, who was also arrested during Granite Hammer, allegedly stabbed a man in August.

MANCHESTER, NH — A homeless man now located in New Hampshire has been indicted in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North this month on a number of charges related to alleged incidents in the Queen City this summer, according to a report. Ousman Trawalley, 25, was indicted for first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, falsifying physical evidence, all felonies, as well as two counts of breach of bail conditions, three counts of resisting arrest or detention, and simple assault.

On July 19, 2016, in Manchester, Trawalley allegedly swallowed a baggie that contained an unknown substance. During that interaction with officers, he allegedly resisted and assaulted a police officer, according to the indictment.

On Aug. 26, 2016, at around 1:30 a.m., officers in Manchester were sent to an apartment on Beech Street for a report of an incident. When they arrived, they reportedly found a victim stabbed in the leg. The victim alleged that Trawalley stabbed him, according to the report. The next night, an officer was walking in the area of Enright Park, saw Trawalley, and knew he had an active warrant, according to police. Trawalley allegedly fled the scene and the officer reportedly gave chase and caught him.

Trawalley is no stranger to crime, according to reports.

In November 2015, he was arrested in Manchester after allegedly stealing an iPhone and headphones from a local teen near the Red Arrow Restaurant on Lowell Street.

In early January, he was arrested in in front of the New Hampshire Employment Security park lot in Manchester on five counts of simple assault, resisting arrest, and violation of bail conditions, as well as warrants after waving an X-Acto knife at people and then, allegedly assaulting police officers when they tried to take custody of him. In February, he was arrested for possession of crack cocaine during a Granite Hammer raid.

Trawalley, according to the indictments, is a felon, having previously been convicted in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia for burglary.
