UPDATED: Manhunt Underway for Women Involved in Robbery of Gun-toting Granny: Cops
Julie Lambert, formerly of Bedford, and Amanda Gurley, are allegedly accomplices to the robbery of an elderly woman who then shot the perp.
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester Police are looking for two women and have a man in custody in the recent robbery attempt of an elderly woman who shot an assailant to protect herself earlier this week.
Police allege that Julie Lambert, 21, pictured left, formerly of Bedford but currently with no fixed address, and Amanda Gurley, right, also homeless but currently located in Manchester, were in a car on Jan. 4, 2016, when Michael Bontaites, 23, allegedly robbed a 65-year-old grandmother outside of her South Porter Street apartment and was shot by the woman, who had a concealed carry permit and used it to protect herself, according to police.

Also, another man, Zack Boyd, is currently in custody on other charges but has been identified as an alleged fourth person in the vehicle during the robbery.

A police manhunt is now underway for Lambert, who is 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs around 110 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and also has a pierced nose. Gurley is also 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs about 115 lbs. with brown hair and eyes. Both women, when caught, will be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery. Gurley is also wanted on a violation of bail conditions charge, since she was arrested in September.
Boyd was arrested on other unrelated charges the same night of the incident, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
