Donald Trump in Manchester: 'New Hampshire Is Staying Right Where It Is'

Trump said he is going to rescue the Granite State primary and that minority groups will "have the time of their life" if he is elected.

Donald Trump returned (an hour late) Thursday afternoon to the site of his first victory.

Scheduled to speak at 1 p.m. at The Armory Ballroom at The Radisson Hotel in Manchester, N.H., Trump took the podium just after 2 following an introduction from Dr. Ben Carson.

Trump made a couple of promises to the vocal crowd, briefly saying he'd help clean up the opioid epidemic in New Hampshire before saying he'd rescue the Granite State primary from going to the back of the line. His main focus was getting out ahead of what he said was Hillary Clinton preparing to call him, his campaign, and his supporters racist.

"If I win New Hampshire ... ok when I win ... New Hampshire is staying right where it is in terms of primary," Trump said. "There's a lot of talk in moving you to the back of the pack and it's not going to happen."

Trump said he's developed such a "deep affection" for New Hampshire, and that residents will be "very very happy if I win."

Among chants of "Lock Her Up!", Trump didn't miss his chance to swing at Clinton. He focused on the recent AP report that half of Clinton's nongovernment meetings were with donors of the Clinton Foundation, saying her "actions constitute all of the elements of a major criminal enterprise."

"What is being uncovered now is one of the most shocking scandals in American political history," Trump said. "It's Watergate all over again."

Trump said Clinton paints his voters as racists, suggesting reports indicate she will soon accuse the Trump campaign and its supporters of bigotry. He said that people who warn against Radical Islam aren't Islamophobes, that those who are concerned with crime are not bigots, that those who want to solidify America's borders are not racist.

"Hillary Clinton isn't just attacking me, she's attacking all of the decent people of all backgrounds who support this incredible once-in-a-lifetime movement."

Trump again added another perplexing call of encouragement.

"What do you have to lose? Donald Trump will fix it, he'll make it better," he said. "What the hell do you have to lose? It can't get any worse than what it is right now."

The crowd responded with rich chants of of "USA".
