- Police in Manchester, New Hampshire, are investigating after a man was shot following an argument inside the Yee Dynasty Chinese restaurant early Friday morning. Investigators learned that several people had gotten into an argument and started fighting inside the restaurant. The group then left the restaurant and continued to fight in the parking lot. During the altercation, a gun was fired and the victim was struck. No arrests have been made and the victim is expected to survive as he's in stable condition in the hospital. (NECN)
- Manchester police responded to 381 Myrtle St. on Thursday for a report of a man with a gun. Tyler Cambell, 30, of Manchester allegedly was yelling and screaming, and when confronted, witnesses said he pointed the gun in their direction before barricading himself inside the home. Negotiators could be heard speaking over a loudspeaker for several hours asking Campbell to come out and end the incident peacefully and shared that Campbell's mother was concerned and he should come out before anyone was hurt. - The St. Cloud Police Department is reporting a significant increase in the number of deaths from the drug fentanyl in 2022. As of December 29, there were 19 overdose deaths in St. Cloud, 16 of which were from fentanyl. Fentanyl is extremely dangerous due to its high potency. Drug dealers intentionally mix it with other drugs as a way to increase their profits. However, authorities say it often leads to overdoses and death because people don't know they are ingesting it.
