The officer learned that a woman had entered the bank had allegedly attempted to use a counterfeit Rhode Island identification to obtain a $1,000 cash advance on a fraudulent credit card, according to a report. When the teller realized the transaction might be suspicious, the woman reportedly left the bank without any money.

The woman – Jordan – allegedly headed to the Quality Inn in Merrimack where she and four other suspects were staying, according to Chief John Bryfonski.

At about the same time, police in Concord arrested a man and a woman also attempting to make a fraudulent transaction on a bank there while Merrimack Police were also alerted to fraudulent activity in their town.

Officers in Merrimack went to the Quality Inn attempting to locate suspects and saw a Toyota RAV4 connected to the suspicious activity in the parking lot. The vehicle reportedly left the area but police followed the vehicle into Nashua and after a foot pursuit, police arrested two women – Tyiesha Davis and Shaquella Sykes, also of Florida – according to police.

At just before 6 p.m., Bedford Police located Jordan at the Quality Inn and arrested her based on the department’s investigation and surveillance photos from Citizens Bank. She is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

Bedford Police allege that Jordan was able to get a fraudulent $1,000 advance from TD Bank on South River Road on June 3, according to the report.

"Due to the swift actions of police, we were able to put and end to this fraudulent activity in our community," Bryfonski said. "Thank you to the Concord and Merrimack Police Department, which located and arrested the additional suspects involved in this illegal activity."
