The class also included a question and answer session where participants asked Lozier anything baking and
culinary related. Lozier founded the American Culinary Federation Professional Chefs of NH in 1979 and
is currently an active member. “The class was very well received, so much so that we have decided to do a
cake decorating class next year, many people have already sign up!” says Fred. “It gives me great pleasure
to continue to pass on my culinary knowledge to those who are interested in learning more”.
Lozier founded Frederick’s Pastries 33 year ago in his garage in Nashua, NH. The business soon after
moved to its current location 109 State Route 101A in Amherst, NH. In 2004 Lozier sold the business to
his youngest daughter, Susan Lozier Robert who opened two additional locations in Bedford, NH and
North Andover, MA. Fred loves to teach people the skills and information he has of baking. Lozier resides
in Bonita Springs, Florida with his wife Gloria for the fall and winter seasons. If he isn’t teaching his
talents to others, you can find Fred on local golf courses, if you see him make sure to say hi.
