'Granite Hammer' Drug Enforcement Op Bags 7
Report: 100+ grams of meth, suboxone strips, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and cash all collected by police yesterday.
For the third week in a row, police in the Queen City have rounded up alleged drug and warrant suspects as part of the police department’s “Operation Granite Hammer” effort.
Arrested on Oct. 8, 2015, were:
- Justin Pastrana, 28, of Manchester: Warrant (possession of a controlled drug, heroin).
- Matthew Barry, 29,of Manchester: Warrant (possession of a controlled drug) and warrant (other agency).
- Michael Byrne, 22, of Manchester: Possession with intent to distribute (heroin) 2.7 grams.
- Kristle Gifford, 32, of Manchester: Possession of a controlled drug (marijuana), two grams.
- Aaron Cantrell, 27, of Manchester: Possession of a controlled with the intent to distribute (heroin, 20 grams) (marijuana, 7 grams) and violation of bail conditions.
- Michael Jones, 43, of Manchester: Possession of a controlled drug (crystal methamphetamine, 103 grams).
- Christy Colby, 28, of Manchester: Warrant (receiving stolen property).

According to Sgt. Michael Biron, the Manchester Police Department Special Enforcement Division in conjunction with The New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigation Unit and the Drug Enforcement Agency, hit the streets of the Queen City on Oct. 8, at 5 a.m.

Investigators first visited an apartment on Laurel Street with a warrant. During the process of executing the search warrant, a detective allegedly saw Jones throw a shaving bag out of a bedroom window. Colby was also in the home at the time of the raid.

“Approximately 103 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 37 suboxone strips, 1 gram of cocaine and approximately $5,450 in U.S. currency” were allegedly located in the apartment, according to Biron.
During the course of the effort, the drug enforcement unit rounded up the other alleged perpetrators.
