Herman Cain to Address Media Wednesday in NH

The candidate's campaign is reeling.

Herman Cain, who said today that he is reassessing his campaign in the wake of allegations that he had an extramarital affair, will address the media at his Manchester campaign headquarters on Wednesday night, according to a campaign spokesman.

Charlie Spano, Cain's New Hampshire spokesman, said in an email that Cain has only two stops planned – an 8:45 p.m. media availability at the campaign headquarters on Wednesday, and a Thursday interview with the Union Leader. The Union Leader interview had to be rescheduled after Cain cancelled earlier this month. The conservative newspaper endorsed Newt Gingrich earlier this week.

Cain's New Hampshire campaign is reeling in the wake of the most recent allegations against the candidate. WMUR's James Pindell reported tonight that state Reps. William Panek and Sam Cataldo have dropped their support of Cain over the candidate's handling of the alleged affair. Pindell reported that two other state legislators, Charles Brosseau and Jordan Ulery, are also wavering.
