Juvenile Arrested For Murder After Goffstown Shooting

A juvenile allegedly shot and killed Ian Jewell on Sunday during a robbery. Thousands have been raised to offset memorial service costs.

GOFFSTOWN, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office has issued charges against a juvenile who allegedly shot and killed a Manchester teen outside of a local hardware store last weekend, according to an alert. Despite capital charges of first-degree murder – using a deadly weapon during the commission of a robbery – as well as an alternative count of second-degree murder, the juvenile’s name is not being released. Investigators allege that the juvenile shot and killed Ian Jewell, 18, of Manchester, during a robbery in the parking lot of the Ace Hardware in Goffstown on Depot Street at just after 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2017.

Jewell, an autopsy revealed, was killed with a single gunshot wound to the chest.
