Forecasters Say It Will Be A Mostly Sunny, Pleasant Labor Day Weekend, Weather-Wise

Expect morning fog and sun on Friday and showers on Saturday. Sunday and Monday should be the winners.

GRAY, ME — The last long weekend of the summer season is upon us, and weather forecasters expect it will be a good one.

After morning fog on Friday, expect sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s or lower 80s. Overnight will be clear and cool, with lows in the upper 50s.

Showers are likely Saturday, especially in the afternoon, with highs in the mid-70s and a 5 to 10 mph wind out of the northeast. Rain is expected to continue into the evening, with lows around 50.

The sun returns on Sunday, with highs in the mid-70s. Overnight lows will drop into the upper 40s.

Expect similar weather on Monday: Sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid-50s.

Tuesday will be sunny, but rain returns Wednesday.
