Man Pleads Guilty to Sexually Assaulting Elderly Woman

Timothy Morrissey was an LNA at Bel-Air Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Goffstown when he was caught assaulting the woman last year.

CONCORD, NH — A former nursing assistant has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease late last year, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Timothy Morrissey of Manchester was sentenced to 18 months to five years in prison in U.S. District Court, according to a press statement.

An investigation of Morrissey began in October 2015 after a fellow employee caught him performing a sex act on the woman who was 79 at the time.

“I know, it’s sick,” he reportedly stated. “I need help.”
