Manchester Man Indicted On A Dozen Child Sexual Assault Charges

MANCHESTER, NH — A Queen City man who was arrested last year was indicted on dozens of charges, including 12 child sexual assault charges, after an investigation by the Manchester Police Department’s juvenile unit.

Alexander Haggie, 26, of Manchester, was arrested in October 2024 and indicted on Jan. 22, according to Heather Hamel, a public information officer for the Manchester Police Department. She said the department’s juvenile unit conducted “multiple investigations” into the allegations against him, which led to the following charges: three counts of pattern aggravated felonious sexual assault, nine counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, three counts of witness tampering, two counts of indecent exposure-sex act against a child under 16, four counts of endangering-solicit sex, two counts of criminal threatening-conduct, one count of criminal threatening, eight counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of sexual assault-sexual contact, one count of computer services-use prohibited, one count of transmit a lewd image to a child under 16, one count of gross lewdness in the presence of a child under 16, and one count of simple assault.

The case was boundover from district court to Hillsborough County Superior Court North on Nov. 22, 2024.

Haggie was held on preventative detention and is scheduled for arraignment in superior court on Feb. 24.

Nicole Marie Menard, 29, also of Manchester, who is reportedly Haggie’s girlfriend, also faces charges. She was indicted on two counts of witness tampering and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, all felonies, last month. She was arrested in November 2024 and released on $500 cash bail. The case was boundover from district to superior court in December 2024.

Menard will be arraigned on Feb. 21 in superior court.

According to court records, Menard was convicted on a credit card fraud-less than $1,000 charge in April 2018 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South. She accepted a plea deal after being charged with forgery, receiving stolen property, and theft by deception after an incident in Hudson in November 2017. Menard was given a 12-month sentence, deferred for a year, and 50 hours of community service.
