MANCHESTER, NH — A Manchester sex offender is facing new charges after being accused of drunken driving on Interstate 93 on Monday night.

Around 10:15 p.m., a state trooper on Interstate 93 reported seeing a 2013 Infiniti G37X traveling at more than 100 mph while its driver had lane control issues. The trooper attempted to stop the car on the northbound side of the highway, but the driver was accused of failing to stop. According to Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the department, the trooper pursued the car until it was clocked at 130 mph. Due to the alleged erratic driving, the trooper stopped chasing the car.

“Shortly after,” she said, “Troop B troopers and officers from the Manchester Police Department arrived at the address of the vehicle’s registered owner in Manchester. Upon arrival, the vehicle and operator were quickly located and arrested.”
