NH Pot Grower Shoots at Intruder: Police

Police launched a manhunt in Auburn after a homeowner fired at an intruder. Police said they later found a marijuana operation in the home.

AUBURN, NH — An individual overseeing an illegal marijuana growing operation out of an Auburn home shot at an intruder Wednesday morning, police said.

A manhunt was launched but police had not yet found the suspect as of Wednesday night. Meanwhile, investigators said they found a large marijuana growing operation inside the home, located at 56 Wood Hill Dr.

The nearby Auburn Village School was placed on lockdown during the manhunt, according to WHDH. The homeowner shot but did not hit the intruder, police said.

Police did not identify the homeowner or the intruder as of Wednesday night.
