Mass. Dad Overdoses In NH Dunkin’ Bathroom: Cops
The son of Christopher Morrissey of Boston, MA, alerted staffers to his dad being in the bathroom a long time Saturday, according to police.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Boston man is due in court in September after allegedly overdosing in a Queen City restaurant bathroom while his son was left unattended, according to Manchester Police. Christopher Morrissey, 26, of Boston, MA, was arrested on July 29, 2017, for endangering the welfare of a child. Police were sent to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Candia Road for a report of an overdose at around 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

Manchester Fire and Rescue teams along with AMR personnel were already at the scene when officers arrived and revived the man with Narcan, according to Lt. Police spoke to Morrissey and a boy – 9 – about the incident.
“Morrissey allegedly entered the bathroom to ingest heroin (and) left the (boy) unattended in the main dining area,” O’Keefe alleged. “The young boy alerted a staff member that Morrissey was inside of the bathroom for a long period of time, so they entered the bathroom and located the unconscious man.”

Staffers called 911, first responders arrived, and administered Narcan, O’Keefe stated.
Morrissey was taken to Elliot Hospital and later, arrested by police. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in court on Sept. 6. The child was released to a family member, O'Keefe noted.
