‘Missing’ Manchester Woman Arrested On Child Endangerment Charge: Follow-Up
Nicole Wise was arrested by Queen City police earlier this month on a single count, accused of leaving a child alone inside an apartment.

MANCHESTER, NH — A woman, reported missing on Christmas Eve, has been arrested on a child endangerment charge after being accused of leaving a child alone inside an apartment.
Nicole Wise, 29, reportedly left her apartment on Orange Street without personal items on Dec. 24, 2024, and her family had reported not hearing from her, Heather Hamel, a public information officer for the department, said.
“When her boyfriend returned from work that night, he discovered her missing and their 4-year-old child alone in the apartment,” she said. “Concerns for Wise's safety arose as she had left her wallet and phone behind.”

But a few days later, on Jan. 2, police reported she had been safely located.
Hamel said a police investigation “revealed that she had left voluntarily” on Dec. 24, 2024, and left the child alone, according to a report. On Wednesday, police reported Wise was arrested on a single count. She turned herself in on the warrant earlier this month, Hamel said.
