Nashua Man, Manchester Couple Accused Of Assault, Purse Snatching
Kevin Karam as well as Tiffany and Edwin Soto were arrested Thursday on robbery charges after an incident on Penacook Street in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, NH — Three people will be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court North Thursday after a robbery on Penacook Street in the Queen City. Around 1 a.m., officers were called to the Elm Street Rite Aid to assist a woman who was robbed. The victim told police that she was robbed by three people she knew, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.
"She said a woman identified as Tiffany Soto of Manchester approached her, pulled her hair, forcing her to the ground, and physically assaulted her," Hamel said. "While that was going on, two men, Edwin Soto of Manchester and Kevin Karam of Nashua, took her purse and other items."
All three fled the area in a black "beat up" pickup truck, the victim said.

Police quickly found the truck, identified all three people inside as suspects, and arrested them all on felony robbery charges. Edwin Soto, 28, was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug.
Karam is no stranger to police, according to reports on Patch. He was arrested and later indicted on a crack cocaine charge after an incident in Manchester in February 2017. While living in Allenstown in March 2017, he was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Londonderry. Karam was arrested on a capias warrant in May 2019 by Nashua police.
