NH AG Releases Names, Details of Bedford Suspicious Death Victims
All three died from gunshot wounds to the head; assistant AG says, "The investigation is ongoing."

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office along with New Hampshire State Police and Bedford Police have issued a statement officially releasing the names and the cause of death of three suspicious deaths that occurred on 17 McAfee Farm Road in Bedford on March 28, 2015.
The victims were identified as Nina Obukhov, 34; Katherine Obukhov, 8; and Elizabeth Obukhov, 6.
The state’s medical examiner has determined that the cause of death for all three to be gunshot wounds to the head.

“The manner of death of the children has been determined to be homicide,” according to Assistant Attorney General Jay McCormack. “The manner of death of Nina Obukhov, as yet, is pending investigation.”
While the mother and wife’s determination is still pending, McCormack also added, “Based on the information to date however, the deaths appear to the result of a murder-suicide where the mother, Nina Obukhov, shot and killed her two daughters and then turned the gun on herself. The investigation is still ongoing.”

The New Hampshire Union Leader is reporting that the attorney for Alexey Obukhov, the husband of the woman and father of the children, Evan Nappen, reached out to him on Saturday distraught about the incident. Counselors were at the Riddle Brook School today to assist friends of the Obukhov girls.
