NH Fugitive Added to 15 Most Wanted List
U.S. Marshals are searching for Matthew Dion who is wanted for murder, arson, child pornography, and unlawful flight.

U.S. Marshals have added alleged murder and arson suspect Matthew Dion to the department’s 15 Most Wanted List today, according to a press statement.
Dion has been missing since March 2014, when Manchester Fire and Rescue teams were sent to his parents’ home for a fire that was later determined to be arson. Investigators found Dion’s parents’ deceased bodies in the basement deaths that were later ruled homicides.
Dion, who was reportedly known to live at the home, was missing and later, became the prime suspect in the murder of his parents and the arson, according to investigators. A month later, Dion was charged with child pornography.

In September 2014, police charged Dion with two counts of second-degree murder and arson. Later that year, he was also charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and the reward for his location increased to $10,000.
“Matthew Dion’s alleged crimes have made him the latest addition to our 15 Most Wanted list, which is reserved for those suspected of heinous crimes such as those Dion is accused of committing,” said U.S. Marshals Service Director Stacia Hylton. “Our Deputy U.S. Marshals and federal and local partners are dedicated to his apprehension so that he may face justice.”

Extensive work, according to U.S. Marshal David Cargill, Jr., of the District of New Hampshire, has already been put into the case. Investigators believe that Dion may have a handgun. He has ties to the state of Georgia and was also reportedly seen in Florida.
Dion is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs around 170 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes. Police note that he has a horizontal scar on his forehead and blackened teeth due to decay. He may be driving a silver Hyundai Elantra with plates that were reportedly stolen.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading directly to Dion’s arrest. Anyone with information is urged to contact the nearest U.S. Marshals office or the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102.
