NH Fugitive of the Week Caught in Bedford

Tips from media coverage led U.S. Marshals to a motel on Route 101.

A fugitive, last known to be living in the Manchester, area, was arrested in Bedford today, after being exposed in the U.S. Marshals Fugitive of the Week feature posted on Patch and other media outlets.

Amber Blackman, 23, was arrested on Dec. 4, for failing to appear in court in Merrimack County on a number of charges including drugs, obstruction of justice, willful concealment, and five probation violations.

According to Deputy Marshal Jeffrey White, numerous tipsters led investigators to multiple locations, including a motel on Route 101 in Bedford. At the motel, Blackman was found and arrested without incident. She was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections pending a court arraignment.

Marshals say she has “an extensive criminal history,” on top of these current outstanding warrants.
