NH State Police Hunting for Convicted Armed Robbery Inmate
Breaking: Andrew Shea former of Stoughton, MA, escaped from official custody at the state prison halfway house in Manchester last night.
MANCHESTER, NH — New Hampshire State Police, state corrections officials, and Queen City police are currently looking for Andrew Shea, 37, a convicted armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm who allegedly fled the Calumet Halfway House for Men in Manchester at around 7 p.m. on Aug. 19, 2016, according to an alert. Corrections officers reportedly attempted to take him in to custody for being “out of place” and during the process, he escaped on foot.
Shea is 6 feet tall, weighs about 265 lbs., and has brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his neck and he was reportedly wearing khaki shorts and a black short sleeve shirt when he escaped down Lowell Street in Manchester.
Shea is currently serving time for two felony armed robberies and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He had a scheduled earliest release date of January 2017, according to officials.

Investigators from the State Police and Department of Corrections would ask that if anyone has information regarding SHEA’S whereabouts or comes into contact with him is asked to contact the New Hampshire State Police at 603-271-3636 or the NH Department of Corrections 603-271-1804.
According to a report on Stoughton MA Patch, back in December 2012, Shea was arrested for breaking and entering into a building at night in his hometown of Stoughton. About six months later, he was arrested by Nashua Police for robbing the Lucky Street Market on East Hollis Street. Police also suspected him of robbing the Harbor Mart on Harbor Avenue in Nashua in July 2012, according to posts on Nashua NH Patch.
