NH Woman Arrested Again on Drug Charges

Maria Camacho was arrested for possession during the weekend.

MANCHESTER, NH — Officers walking the beat reportedly found a wanted subject and after questioning her, allegedly found her in possession of drugs again, according to a report. Maria Camacho, 36, of Manchester, was arrested on Jan. 21, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-heroin.

At just before 1 p.m. on Saturday, two officers reportedly saw Camacho walking in the area of Lincoln and Manchester streets. They double-checked that she had an active warrant and arrested her.

After being transported to police headquarters, Camacho was allegedly found to be in possession of 0.5 grams of heroin. She was arraigned today in court.

During the last three months, Camacho has been arrested twice.

Back in October 2016, she was arrested for theft, drug possession, and violation of bail, after allegedly stealing a firearm from a Union Street resident. Last month, she was arrested on warrants after a SWAT team issued a robbery warrant and discovered an alleged drug den on Union Street.
