  1. The popular Junior Librarian program will be back this summer, The Bedford Public Library said on Facebook. What does a junior librarian do? Have your questions answered at an upcoming information session on Wednesday, May 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the library, and on Monday, May 16, and Wednesday, May 18, via Zoom. All sessions will have the same information, organizers said. Find out more about the schedule and event here: (Facebook)
  2. If you are a local business owner, the Animal Rescue League of N.H. has a proposal for you. Good help is hard to find, so they are offering shelter pets for hire with "skill sets to match any job," (and will provide pet resumes too). Choose the pet you want to hire and display a pet "Employee of the Month" plaque provided by the ARLNH to promote your shelter pet, and the ARLNH will help promote your business! Find out more about the program here: (Facebook)
  3. Police are looking for a man for thefts that occurred in April at two different Panera Bread restaurants in southern New Hampshire. Bedford police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s, with dark hair, that is about 6 feet tall. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective McMillen at 603-472-5113 ext. 342 or text an anonymous tip at 888777 and start your text with "TIP BEDFORDNH PD" followed by the info you want to share.
